Incentives for the Moslem Countries to Unite to Rescue the Palestinians

Christopher Jon Bjerknes

Russia will do what is good for Russia. China will do what is good for China. The Middle Eastern nations should court their support, but continually bear in mind that both Russia and China will betray Middle Eastern nations at a moment's notice, if it is in their best interest to do so.

The Palestinians should remind the Arab States in particular, and the Moslem nations in general, why it is in their best interests to help the Palestinians to establish a neutral and autonomous nation in conformity with international law. As the Israelis steal more and more land in the West Bank, and strengthen their illegal grip on Jerusalem, they will push out Moslems and Christians, and the Jews will be emboldened to destroy the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque. They may dupe Christians into committing a terrorist act, but it will be a Jewish Temple which will be built. One of the best means to prevent such an outcome is for the world to unite for justice and self determination for the Palestinians.

If the Jews of Israel complete their genocide of the Palestinians, they will be emboldened to roll over Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. It was always the Zionists' plan to first take some cities in Palestine, then grow the colonies to push out Moslems and Christians and eventually overtake all of the lands of "Greater Israel". It is important for Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, etc. to hold the Palestinian lines against Israeli expansion. It is their first line of defense for their own nations. If the Jews succeed in genociding the Palestinians, they will view it as a sign from their Jewish God to continue their conquests. The genocide, if it goes unpunished, will serve as a precedent for further Israeli expansionism.

The existence of a Palestinian State, if properly formed and managed, will go far toward promoting peace and stability in the region. The People of Israel want relief from the constant stress Jewish leaders place them under. The formation of a Palestinian State and the opportunities it will offer for better relations between Moslems, Jews and Christians, will serve as a release for the tensions which have been escalating since 9/11; and turn frustration into hope. The establishment of permanent borders will take away Israeli and Arab incentives for war, revolution and instability.

It is my hope that the Peoples of Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine, elect to form neutral, secular states, for the sake of their own security, as well as that of their neighbors, and that their neighbors agree to honor their neutrality. The resolution of the Palestinian question through obedience to international law and the formation of a neutral autonomous State will go far towards providing hope and inspiration to the Lebanese and the Iraqis. Peace in Lebanon and Iraq would greatly improve the outlook for peace and prosperity in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Syria and Iran. Arab and Iranian leaders will help themselves by helping the Palestinians.
